Nurse's Corner
The health and wellbeing of your child is just as important as the education they are receiving here at Founders. It is our job to make that your child is educated and healthy at all times. When your child feels good, they are able to perform well in academic settings.
For the health of your child, other students and our hardworking school staff, it is imperative that you are aware of when your child should stay home. Please keep the child at home if they have one or more the following symptoms:
- Fever of 100 or higher within the past 24 hours
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Sore throat with a fever and/or swollen glands
- Bad cough or difficulty breathing
If your child has strep throat or any other bacterial infection, he/she should remain at thome until the antibiotic has been given for at least 24 hours or until your health care provider has given you permission to return your child to school.
